Insurance
To ski / board with Savoie Heliski, comprehensive winter sports insurance is obligatory. It is your responsibility to ensure that you adequately insure yourself with winter sports travel insurance to include third party liability, personal injury, accident, cancellation, losses and rescue cover.
We recommend that you arrange a comprehensive insurance policy with a licenced agent which includes appropriate cover for your private lessons and heliski trips with us. If your lesson includes off-piste skiing or ski touring, your insurance must cover you for this. Everyone on heliski trips must have comprehensive off-piste insurance, giving you the peace of mind that you are fully covered skiing in full backcountry in either Italy or France with a qualified instructor.

It is a condition of booking that you respect the professional judgement of your instructor at all times during your activity with Savoie Heliski.
Everyone must wear helmets during lessons and Heliski trips.
For all Heliski trips, we require you to wear and carry avalanche safety equipment including an airbag backpack, transceiver, shovel and Probe - this is not included in your package. We will advise you where to hire the equipment should you not possess your own.
For all off - piste lessons and workshops you will need transceiver, shovel and probe, which we will provide.
